Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit

Cash in on up to 70% of the value of your home for ready money for any purpose. Choose a Highlands State Bank® Equity Line of Credit and use the funds when and how you please by simply writing a check. Or for a fixed rate and term, choose one of our regular Home Equity Loans. Lines of Credit start at $10,000, with a maximum of $250,000. Interest on Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor.

Residential Mortgages

Whether you’re buying, building, or refinancing, Highlands State Bank® has a mortgage loan to fit your needs. Free prequalification and preapprovals are available.

  • Adjustable-Rate Mortgages with an adjustment period of 10 years.
  • Construction Permanent Mortgages with interest on construction funds dispersed only. Loan converts at completion/Certificate of Occupancy to a fixed rate Home Equity Loan with terms ranging from 5 to 20 years or an adjustable rate mortgage with a 10 year adjustment period / 30 year term.
  • One- to four-family investment property loans for purchase or refinance, with terms ranging from 10 to 30 years.
  • Bridge Loans for customers who purchase a new home before the sale of their existing property is complete.
  • Loans for approved building lots.
  • Jumbo Mortgages.
